yest was my hist mid yr exam.. n i was telling God during the hols tt i cant finish studying.. but i know somehow through some miracle, HE will allow me 2 finish all my topics.. yest was my exam which includes FRENCH REVOLUTION, RUSSIAN REVOLUTION n ww1.. it was bad.. the amt of things n dates u have 2 rem.. but i manage 2 finish them by nite @ 1015.. i called my fren hu said she was planning 2 study till 5 in the morn.. i was like huh?! izzit i missed out something? how come i can finish studying so quickly? i cant slp.. i was paranoid.. but there was tis voice tt keep repeating itself saying.. tis is the miracle tt GOd had shown u.. minimal time, maximum info.. ok.. i admit i was damn paranoid. went 2 bed at 12, cant slp, woke up at 1 studied till 130.. i didnt exactly listen 2 God.. haas.
the day of exam: i tell u.. it was great.. i did ll my ques confidently n i felt God was there n everything.. afetr the whole thing, i felt G.R.E.AT. simply great..
morale of the story?
My God NEVER fails me n He is sooo faithful.. He keeps to his promises.. n tonight programme, my God is going 2 b there n Hes going 2 touch ppl.. not through our skit, not our ling chang but as wat zhiying say, its through Him.. amen..

let me share with you guys something i learnt today, bout - Faith
Faith is possessing things in the future and having them NOW! Faith is looking past self, circumstances, doctor's report, financial crisis and looking at Jesus and claiming everything that Jesus has died to purchase for us - health, peace, wealth and life abundance! Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
So when you've no faith, relax. It's not your faith that makes things work in the first place. It's Jesus. I might not have much faith for today's event.... really, but i know, we've Jesus - and that's more than we ever needed.

The Lord's prayer is an old covenant prayer. wow, never knew that.
Don't Tell It Like It Is
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
Words are serious business. And, as believers, we need to get serious about learning how to use them. We need to begin to put them to work for us like God Himself does. The Bible tells us that He uses words to "call those things which be not as though they were" (Rom. 4:17).
Most of us don't have the faintest idea how to do that. We've spent our lives "telling it like it is." We've constantly used our mouths to report on the sorry state of affairs around us. Thus, the very thought of calling "things which be not as though they were" seems a little crazy.
"You mean I'm supposed to say, 'I'm healed' when I'm feeling sick? I'm supposed to say, 'I'm prosperous' when I'm penniless?" we say. "That sounds like lying to me."
No, no. There's a vast difference between lying and speaking by faith. A lie is meant to deceive someone. It's designed to make someone believe something that's not true. But to speak by faith is simply to speak words that agree with the Word of God instead of the circumstances around you. It's speaking from your spirit instead of from your mind.
As the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:13, "We have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote, I have believed, and therefore have I spoken. We too believe, and therefore we speak" (The Amplified Bible).
Now that's important. Read that verse again. "I have believed, and therefore have I spoken."
There are some folks who speak the words, but they don't have the faith to back it up, and as a result, they fall flat on their spiritual faces. They didn't actually "call things that be not as though they were." They called things that be not the way they wished they were.
Those are two very different things. The words may be the same. But just wishing and hoping won't get the job done. You've got to "believe."
Begin today bringing both your tongue and your heart in line with the Word. Stop "telling it like it is" and start speaking and believing the promises of God. Put the power of words to work for you.

Zing: She looks like shes unprepared for the photo. hahahaha. dunno why. she doesnt seem to be smiling happily. hahahaha. and one eighth of her face was blocked off. poor girl.
Peg: Our dummer cum pianist cum violinist cum gu zhen player, otherwise known as our musical genius girl. i dunno how she manages her instruments SO well. its horribly unbelievable. i dunno why she looks lethargic.
Huili: Our crazy girl who doesnt know anything about being fooled. hahahaha. she looks horribly like an ah so trying to act cute with that finger under her chin. hahahaha. oopsie.
Shuxian: She's equally blur as huili. hahaha. though she doesnt look like it. but she likes to say "huh?" all the time, acknowledging her unawareness of the situation she is in. shes grinning like a crazy girl.
Weiwen: Hes trying to look shocked but doesnt seem to help alot. hes SMILING!! haahahah. okok. hes a nice guy whose chao erm.. well-built. i wanted to say fat. hahaha.
Zhiyong: Dunno whats with him. theres sumthing black near his mouth. i think its cos some idiot did this pic so uglily. then erase never erase properly. like he never clean his mouth liddat.
Fuyun: I seriously don't know why hes licking my ahir. ahahahah. *shudders* it probably tastes good. dunno. i havent tried before. my tongue isnt that long. (even though it looks long in that photo)
Reuben: my tongue looks horirbly long and dirty at the tip. must be cos some silly person didnt erase properly also. and there looks like theres some drool coming out. yuCKs. and i'm sleeping on a pillow. hahaha.

Zing: Poor girl. it was SUCH a beautiful neoprint until huili put that pair of STUPID looking specs onto the WRONG part of her body. i mean. i was the one who did this neoprint. then she go and hui3 rong2. hahaha.
Peg and Shuxian: Both look the same.
Huili: wah.. she looks more ah so than ever. cannot make it. i dunno why shes so aunty in the pic. dunno why i married her. :X
Weiwen and Zhiyong: Our gay guys in church. hahaahah. no lah. they were acting only. i thot the kiss was so well placed. cos i did it again. ahahah.
Reuben: Did i mention, my favourite Xmen is Toad? lol. i really admire people's tongue and their ability to talk. if i had a wish, i would want the gift of the gab. to be able to talk well. is the best skill i can ever acquire. and my favourite mascot. the frog with a long tongue. i have it as a stuffed beanie next to me in bed. =P

this is an evangelical outreach for all the friends out there. we'll be having praise and worship, a short 10 minutes skit and a video. dinner will start at 6.30pm and the actual event will happen at 7.30pm.
all those involved in the skit, please report at 4.30pm 2nd floor on Saturday. and lynn, i'll be needing tambourinists, probably you and the twins. yup. please bring friends. the leaflets and flyers have already been printed. =) god bless your week!
