Also call those who are NOT here on Sunday. That includes yuanting, xuanting n their bro. that includes both garys. Tis includes tingling.. tis includes... I dunno who. Hahahaha. All those hu haven been attending. Include them.
If they r not interested in coming on sat or performing. Get them 2 come down on Sunday.

I still rem I was zhong wu for 2 years, n it REALLI was LOGISTICS. I have 2 go put the chairs properly b4 service and then stack them again after every service. And it was onli SOMETIMES that ppl came 2 help.
Anyway. I want to see FOOD on the next snjb service. (not sure if after youth Sunday got service anot) go ask some1. maybe yr sister. If got, I want to see food. At least potato chips. The least, potato chips.
and get food every other week also.
Maybe 2 times in a month.
Don’t need 2 buy yourself. Can get ppl 2 buy 4 u. say. I AM THE ZHONG WU. I TELL U BUY THEN U MUST BUY. Get things done.

And the last time I know, shuxian was the treasurer?! Tis cant continue. God’s money, tithing must be done properly.
I suggest yuanting to take over. After all, its only a few more mths.
But b4 that, if every1 agrees that is, we must ask yuanting whether she really wants 2 serve, and be prepared to come early every wk. (cox claiming $$ muz b early or the church treasurer would b gone.)
I suggest reuben or fuyun be the one hu contact her.

Tinking of hu is going 2 take over the committee places next yr is also a big headache.
I also see that some people in snjb may wants to serve. But they never got the chance. Because they r small fries n no 1 realises them. They dun dare say also.
So I suggest we allow them 2 have a chance.

Same spirit same mind same thoughts same desires
This is one of my favourite quiet time passage for the past 2 months. just wanna share with you guys. may this be a blessing to you too =)
"For who has known or understood the mind(the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct [Him] and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ, the Messiah, and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart." (1 Corinthians 2:16, Amp)
Isn't it exciting to realize that you can hold the thoughts and feelings and purposes of God's very own heart in your heart? Isn't it thrilling to know the Creator of heaven and earth wants to be one spirit with you and transmit His thoughts to your mind? First Corinthians 6:17 says that when you were joined to the Lord you became one spirit with Him. He came into union with you so that He can talk to you heart to heart. God wants you in this harmony with Him so that His thoughts can become your actions. He wants you to walk so closely with Him that you never lack power to overcome the evil of this world. He wants you to be so in tune with His Spirit that you are able to feel His heart of compassion toward those around you who are hurting or bowed down with sickness and pain. He wants to be one with you, so He can reach out through your hands and fulfill His purposes in the earth.
Make a fresh commitment today to walk in union with your God. Give your attention to His Spirit in your inner man. Determine to yield to His voice and not to the voices of the world or the flesh! Allow the mind of Christ to flow through you!

just feels so good to see a whole new bunch of faces in the snjb com. you guys are the 2nd generation snjb already. the lst generation are pple like, my bro, me, huili, peg, shuxian, jan, simin....and many others left and never came back. this is your snjb. u don't wait for things to happen in here. you make things happen. easier said than done. really. but, oh well, just enjoy yourself, and be guai guai and cooperate with reuben the foo and potato the poh. and not fogetting that all the lst generation snjb retired members are all "on top" supporting you guys. even though we might even disappear occassionally and appear at the weirdest time. =) and there's always wanshui, alan, liping, xiuli and the forever reliable chenjie.
just like to end off with smth for you guys to think about:

hey.. this blog is dying.. guess where i'm now.. e most boring place to be on a sat.. yes.. i'm in sch.. boring.. got nothing to do lohz... finished everything le.. am slacking now.. but still have to be in sch.. damn.. maybe i should fake MC like what most of them are doing lo.. sianz.. but stupid siwei said i'll never successed.. damn.. i so lousy ma..
I cant wait for 1pm now.. hippy.. going out later.. well.. thinking of that renews my spirit.. hahahz.. anyway.. sch's starting and how's everyone?!? cloudnt have been as pathetic as me lo.. seriously.. i think e sch's attachment sux.. i rather have normal timetable, studys n examz back lo.. staying in this room will made me mad.. yes.. mad.. lo.. disturbing others when i have finished my projs and they got things tto do.. if not vice versa... i got projs to do and people disturbing me.. hahahz.. we are super deprived of fun and we now find this as a way to have fun and yes.. it is fun when u go around disturbing people.. hahahz..

hey pple, i thought this quiet time passage was really meaningful....esp to me. my mom's been drilling into my head all my life that i've to save save save money coz we're not that well-off. it got to the point that it used to take me hours just to consider whether to buy a $20 top or not. -horrors- it still like this till today....haha, but it's getting alot better, praise God! i think our Father was very sad to have seen me in that state. In 2 Cor 8:9, Paul said that Jesus became poor, that we might be rich. RICH. RICH. RICH. He doesn't want us to live in poverty!!! praise the Lord! i know my mom can't afford to send me overseas to study for just 6months.... but my Father is definitely rich enough to fulfill my desires. yea. so if any of u have any financial needs, and your family can't afford it, don't fret. go to our Father. He's more than willing to bless you with whatever you need and desire! =)
hi hi everyone! how've u guys been? this past few days have been pretty meaningful for me coz i'm volunteering for this art exhibition for disabled kids and youths. i've never come into contact with so many of them at one go! was feeling kinda insecure before i went coz of this fear of not being able to interact well with them. but, praise God my fear was uncalled for coz interaction was surprisingly effortless! i could yadder on and on with them like i could with other children. and i'm falling in love with the kids! =)
i'm quite grateful for the fact that my uni made us do 80hours of complusory com service. it feels really good to give away love, patience, joy, laughter, and even time, just to put a big smile on other people's face. i'm loving it! =)

its a bit weird what was preached today. well i guess, there are two sides to a coin. i'm getting a wee bit confused on the issue of tongues. the fiery debate during the Q and A session with zhou mu shi and wanshui + zhiyong + doc gao (tag-team) lolx. nvm. i'll still think that tongues is a good thing. it edifies you. its a gift from god. its wonderful to be able to speak in tongues i guess. from all the testimonies i've heard. well. ask and u shall receive.. i'll ask and ask and ask until i receive. =) god bless me.

i can't stand seeing my last entry with those purple words everytime i come here. argh. so i shall blog more. =)
this sunday will be sharing by our pastor again. this time, rest assured, there won't be anymore charismatic movement history...... yah.... i know it's a very, erm...hard 2 hours to endure the other time round. at least we survived it together. -grins-
well, this time round, it'll be his 2nd and final sharing (praise God! heh.) on a topic that many of you probably, don't really know or understand or would be interested to find out more bout -Speaking in Tongues.
i used to have many questions regarding speaking in tongues, like:
What is tongues in the first place?
Do christians communicate better with God when they pray in tongues?
What kind of languages do christians actually speak when they so-called pray in tongues?
Do they know wat they're speaking?
Can they control what they say?
Do we need to even pray in tongues? is it a necessity?
How to pray in tongues?
Is it true that only some christians are given this so-called gift of tongues?

Worship
went service yest and pastor touched on the topic of true worship. i don't think i've ever listened to any sermons on worship before. it's so refreshing. esp knowing that worship can be as simple as: You're on the mrt, sandwiched in the crowd, stoning, and then abruptly, you just feel the love of God. that's worship too. man. i never knew it's so simple.
what really touched my heart was listening to a testimonial of an australian pastor. this pastor couldn't fall asleep one night and he just felt the desire to worship the Lord in the living room. and so he stood there, soaking in the presence of God. After a while, he realised his shoulders were wet. thinking that the ceiling was leaking, he looked up. but the ceiling was fine. then, he turned around and in a vision, saw Jesus standing right behind him, crying.
"Lord, why are you crying? Who made you cry?" he asked instinctively.
Jesus replied, "I've been waiting for this moment, alone with you, for so long......"
It hit me deep. True worship doesn't require you to sing, or say some Godly prayers, or have certain music playing in the background. True worship can be simply, just spending time with Jesus, in silence. =)
committment
today i was talking to one of my long time ago friends from yishun methodist mission. he's taking o levels soon, so we were talking about school stress. then he told me that i'm not in a major exam year, that i should relax more and take my time, and balance my time between god and studies.
when i heard that i was like, wah! this guy is right man. i haven't been devoting any of my time to either of these. really made me think. it was like a wake-up call: RYAN! what have you been doing for the past 3 years? and i answer myself, i've been slacking away doing nothing since sec 1 and sec 2, just sitting down and reading and playing.
i think that today, before you sit down and surf the net and play, we'd all better ask ourselves whether we've been balancing the more important things in our life.

tis morning, went sch on e mrt wif aloy n soonsim.. lol.. talked 2 them all e way.. ya.. they said i change alot.. i seems more cheerful, more joyful, more of everything gd.. yay.. n ya.. then after wait 4 ferlyn n jess at yck station.. then they were complaining abt their families again.. lol.. man.. they told me tt they felt tt i'm so blessed lol.. wa.. like tt also can feel huh?!?*shock* anyway.. they were saying tt compared wif e few of us (jess, ferlyn n myself), they felt tt I'm e blessed one, wif a happy n great family n always meet help frm many friens everywhere i go.. they sort of envy me.. wats more they already felt tt way eva since they noe me last yr, when we were in yr 1.. mm... i didnt noe tt.. but.. ya.. it so gd 2 hear tt early in e morning.. made my day again.. hahaz..
well, come to think of tt, when zing n a few others in SNJB told me i changed, i didnt thgt much of it, coz i'm always quite feng1 in sch ma.. then now, when my sec n poly friens told me tt.. mm.. made me ponder.. well.. mayb i did change ba.. ya.. n i realise i did especially last yr when i seem 2 b attacked by so many things.. ya.. frm granny's illness, to daddy's changed of attitude, 4 once i thgt my family didnt loved me tt much during tt time.. *lame* ya.. sounds lame but tt's wat i felt.. n i used 2 feel so left out in SNJB when i was in sec sch lol.. dunnoe y.. mm.. all e differ. 'trials' tt happened, made me teared almost everyday.. ya.. so much happened, but none of my friens knew.. only a few like eeling, lu n marc.. e very close ones.. ya..dunnoe y marc..lol.. poor him, had 2 bear wif all my tears, whining, temper, beatings n everything little things eva since we knew each other.. still rmb when we 1st met, i thgt he is an AP ah beng n he thgt tt i'm a dao ah lian..hahahz..lol veri grateful 2 him though..
